What is free, and when do I need a paid plan?
Account registration is free. Create your account and verify your email before setting up the copier. New copier subscriptions require a paid plan; free registration alone does not activate copying. Review Plan & billing for your account's current access and compare the available plans before subscribing.
Is MT4 supported or only MT5?
Both MT4 and MT5 are supported. Download the MT4 or MT5 SignalReader EA from the Downloads page and attach it to your terminal.
Do you provide trading signals, and can I preview my format?
You choose your own authorised Telegram signal sources; the copier does not provide trading signals. The public format tester previews how a message is read into order fields. It does not connect to a trading account or place an order. Review the receiving account settings and demo execution separately.
Is there a free trial?
No. We do not offer a free trial of copier access. Free registration and the public signal-format preview are separate from a paid copier subscription.
What are the plan limits?
Starter includes 1 MT account, 3 Telegram groups/channels and 3 settings profiles. Pro includes 3 MT accounts, 10 groups/channels and 10 profiles. Premium includes 10 MT accounts, 30 groups/channels, 30 profiles and AI Recognition. Enterprise includes unlimited MT accounts, groups/channels and profiles, plus AI Recognition. These are base package limits; review Plan & billing for your account's effective limits and any extra account access. MetaAPI itself is purchased separately.
What should I do after registering or completing payment?
Verify your email, then check Plan & billing for your current copier access. A paid plan needs confirmed payment; opening or submitting checkout is not payment confirmation. Once access is active, use Check my setup to review the saved requirements and continue with the missing step. If you already paid but access is inactive or unavailable, review the existing payment and contact support before paying again.

What is the Windows Client?
The Windows Client is a local desktop app for the PC or VPS where Telegram and MetaTrader are running. It listens to Telegram locally, syncs settings with the dashboard, and provides the local bridge URL for the EA.
What is the difference between Cloud mode and Windows Client mode?
Cloud mode means the website handles Telegram login and signal listening. With Cloud + EA, your own MetaTrader terminal and EA still receive and execute commands on a PC or VPS. Windows Client mode moves Telegram login and listening to the Windows app alongside MetaTrader and the EA. MetaAPI is the separate optional execution method for customers using their own MetaAPI subscription.
Can I use the website dashboard and EA without the Windows app?
Yes. Choose website-managed Telegram for Cloud + EA, then run the EA in your own MT4 or MT5 terminal. Keep MetaTrader online with the EA attached. The Windows Client is needed for the Windows/VPS listener method, not for website-managed Telegram.
Can I use MetaAPI instead of the EA?
Yes. Active copier users can use the dedicated MetaAPI dashboard page to connect their own MetaAPI subscription for cloud execution without running the EA on a VPS. Parsing and routing still run through this platform, but trade execution is sent to MetaAPI. MetaAPI billing is separate and managed by you at metaapi.cloud.
Is MetaAPI included in my copier subscription?
No. Copier packages include access to this website's MetaAPI connector. The user still creates, manages, and pays for their own MetaAPI account directly at metaapi.cloud.
Is a VPS required?
EA execution requires an online PC or VPS running MetaTrader with the EA attached. For Windows Client mode, the Windows app must also remain running on that machine. MetaAPI execution does not require your own EA or VPS for the receiving account, but it does require your own active MetaAPI subscription and connection.
Does the copier keep running if the browser is closed?
The browser does not need to remain open after setup. In website-managed Telegram mode, the server handles Telegram listening. EA execution still needs your MetaTrader terminal and EA running on a PC or VPS. Windows Client mode also needs its app running; MetaAPI execution needs its active service and broker connection.
Does the Windows Client need to stay open?
Yes, when you choose Windows Client mode. Keep the app running so it can listen to Telegram, sync supported settings and serve the local bridge. MetaTrader and the EA must also stay running for Windows + EA execution.

Which EA version should I use?
Use the latest stable MT4 or MT5 SignalReader EA shown on Downloads. Follow the setup guide for that release and your chosen execution method. Use an older compatibility release only when support advises it.
What WebRequest URL should I add in MetaTrader?
Use the URL for your selected EA setup: https://telegramtomt5copier.com for website-managed Cloud + EA, or http://127.0.0.2 for Windows Client + EA on your PC or VPS. Use the same selected address in the EA bridge setting and MetaTrader WebRequest allow-list. MetaAPI execution does not use the EA WebRequest setup.
How does the EA receive signals?
The EA uses MetaTrader WebRequest to poll the bridge/API and pull the next pending trade command. It then executes the signal inside your own MT4 or MT5 terminal.
Can I still use the dashboard when using the Windows Client?
Yes. The dashboard remains useful for viewing status, reviewing synced channels, adjusting settings, checking downloads, billing, logs, and monitoring the Windows Client connection.
Can settings and selected channels sync between the dashboard and Windows app?
Yes. Windows Client mode syncs supported signal sources, routing, settings and device status with the dashboard. Changes need the app to reconnect and sync; review the saved selection and status on the listener you use.
How do I switch back from Windows Client mode to Cloud Telegram mode?
Open Telegram in the dashboard and select Website as the Telegram listener. Follow the confirmation steps, reconnect Telegram on the website if requested, refresh the source list and save the sources you want to copy. Then check the setup requirements for your receiving accounts.
Optional MetaAPI setup
Use this section only if you choose your own MetaAPI subscription.
Which MetaAPI option should I subscribe to?
Use the MetaApi service for connecting your own MT4 or MT5 account. Review MetaAPI's current plans and choose one that supports your required accounts, region and connection limits. MetaAPI plan names, prices and service limits are managed by MetaAPI and are separate from your copier subscription.
Do I need CopyFactory, MetaTrader Manager API, Risk Management API, or MetaStats?
No. Those are separate MetaAPI products for other use cases. This copier connects to a user's own MT4/MT5 account through the core MetaApi API, so those extra products are not required for this MetaAPI connector.
What do I need from MetaAPI before connecting it?
Prepare your own active MetaAPI subscription, add and deploy the MT4 or MT5 account inside MetaAPI, and obtain that account's MetaAPI account ID, suitable access token and matching region. Add the same MT account in this dashboard, connect those details to its row and run the connection check before selecting MetaAPI execution.
Which MetaAPI token should I use?
Use an account access token for the specific MT account when possible. Keep the token private, never share it publicly, and replace it if you believe it has been exposed.
Do I still need the EA when using MetaAPI execution?
No. MetaAPI execution sends trades through MetaAPI instead of the EA bridge for that linked account. You still use the dashboard for Telegram parsing, routing, risk settings, logs, and account mapping.
Should I test MetaAPI with a demo account first?
Yes. Demo testing is strongly recommended before live trading. Confirm signal parsing, symbol mapping, lot sizing, SL/TP behavior, and risk settings before switching a live account to MetaAPI execution.

Can I connect multiple Telegram channels?
Yes, within your active copier package's source limits. Connect the listener that has access to the Telegram groups or channels, save the selected sources and review their receiving-account mapping.
Can one signal be sent to multiple MT accounts?
Yes, within your account limits. Map the source to the linked accounts that should receive its signals and review each account's receiving switch, execution method, profile, symbol mapping and sizing. A saved account alone does not enable an operational connection.
Can I adjust risk without editing the EA?
Yes. Supported sizing, stop, target, symbol and management settings are configured through the dashboard and, for Windows mode, synced with the client. Availability depends on the selected execution method and compatible software version.
What is Keyword only signal detection?
Keyword only mode accepts exact buy and sell phrases, such as B now for BUY and S now for SELL by default. It ignores SL/TP from the message and uses your configured default symbol.
What is AI Recognition?
AI Recognition helps read messy Telegram signal formats, captions, and screenshots so the copier can normalize them into executable trade instructions.
Which plans include AI Recognition?
Premium and Enterprise include AI Recognition. Review Plan & billing for the features available on your account, then enable the relevant recognition settings for your chosen workflow.
Do you support images and screenshots?
Yes. AI Recognition can help read signal screenshots and image captions when the feature is available on the active plan.
Can Telegram replies trigger close half or breakeven?
Yes. The settings page includes close half keys and breakeven keys. When enabled, matching reply keywords can queue management commands for linked MT accounts.
What is Grid Recovery?
Grid Recovery can open additional positions under configured rules when price moves against an earlier position. Controls include maximum grid orders, start and step distances, lot coefficient and total lot caps. Additional positions increase exposure and do not guarantee recovery; review the settings and test on demo.

What is Live Signal Journey?
Live Signal Journey helps follow the supported Windows Client workflow through Telegram received, parsed, routed, EA pulled and execution results. Review failures and the final account result. EA pulled applies to EA execution; a received or queued signal alone does not confirm an opened trade.
What does Connection Health Center show?
Connection Health Center helps review cloud sync, Telegram listening, local bridge and EA activity for the Windows workflow. Use it to identify which connection needs attention. Also use Check my setup for saved requirements; saved evidence and recent connection reports are different.
What is Performance Studio?
Performance Studio shows account performance snapshots such as balance, equity, profit, drawdown, signal activity, execution count, and live chart views when the EA is sending account data.
What should I check if the Local Bridge shows an error?
For Windows Client + EA, keep the Windows app running and use http://127.0.0.2 in both the EA bridge setting and MetaTrader WebRequest allow-list. Check the app's bridge status, account number and local connection errors. For website-managed Cloud + EA, follow its separate URL instructions instead.

Which IP address appears at the broker when trades are opened?
For EA execution, the broker connection comes from the PC or VPS running your MetaTrader terminal. For MetaAPI execution, it comes from MetaAPI's infrastructure. The connection address depends on the selected method; check any broker or account-provider restrictions before choosing a setup.
Do you store Telegram passwords?
No. Telegram login is session based. The platform does not store your Telegram password.
What happens when a license expires?
If your account no longer has active copier access, the bridge stops providing valid trade commands until access is active again. Review Plan & billing for your current access status.
How do I cancel or change plan?
Open Plan & billing and use the secure Stripe billing portal for the options available to your subscription. Available controls depend on the subscription status and portal configuration. Contact support if the change you need is not offered, or if your access was paid through a different method.
