Symbol and direction
Use a recognizable instrument name such as GOLD, XAUUSD or EURUSD and include an explicit BUY or SELL direction.
Entry and stop loss
Include an entry price, entry zone or clear NOW instruction. Add a labelled SL or stop-loss value before using the format in a controlled demo test.
Targets and broker mapping
Confirm every detected target, then separately check symbol mapping, decimals, volume and execution rules for your broker and account.

From preview to demo
Check one Telegram signal from preview to demo order
A readable preview is the starting point. Follow the same message through your copier's Logs, then compare it with the order in your broker's demo account.
- Review the preview. Use an invented example or a redacted message you have permission to process. Compare every detected field with the original text. The public tester cannot select an account or place an order.
- Prepare the demo route. Follow the setup guide for your execution method. Before sending a signal, confirm every account receiving that source is a demo account. Review broker symbol mapping, lot or risk rules, enabled layers, trading hours and stop-distance limits. Prices in the examples below are illustrative; your own execution test needs prices valid at your demo broker.
- Send one controlled message. Use a Telegram source you control and have selected in the copier. An enabled execution route can place an order, so keep this check on demo accounts. For an EA route, keep the terminal and required bridge running; for MetaAPI, confirm the demo account is Deployed and Connected and its connection test passes.
- Follow the message in Logs. Open the matching activity and inspect Telegram received, Signal parsed, Account routed and Trade result. An EA route also has EA pulled. For MetaAPI, EA pulled is marked not applicable because execution uses the connector. Received, Queued and Awaiting confirmation do not confirm an opened order.
- Compare the broker result. Check the receiving demo account and the actual order or orders against the fields below. Read any rejection reason before retrying. If execution is partial, review orders already opened on each account before sending another message.

What does the Telegram signal format tester check?
It checks whether the parser can extract a symbol, BUY or SELL direction, entry, stop loss and take-profit levels from pasted text.
Does testing a signal place a trade?
No. The tester only returns a technical preview. It does not connect to Telegram, MetaTrader, a broker or a trading account, and it cannot place an order.
Does a successful preview mean a signal is safe or profitable?
No. Success means only that the structure was readable. It does not assess signal quality, risk, profitability, broker compatibility or suitability.
Why might the same format behave differently in a live setup?
Broker symbols, digits, stop-distance rules, account settings, network conditions, edits and reply handling can all affect live processing. Test on a demo account before considering live use.
