How the cloud Telegram signal copier works

The copier still handles Telegram parsing, routing, settings, logs, and AI Recognition when it is included in the active package. MetaAPI receives the trade execution request for each connected MT account after the copier applies its configured rules.

No VPS execution path

MetaAPI-connected accounts do not need a running MetaTrader terminal, EA, or Windows Client on your computer or VPS.

User-owned MetaAPI

You add your MT4 or MT5 broker account to your own MetaAPI subscription and pay MetaAPI directly.

User-controlled MetaAPI capacity

Check both subscriptions: MetaAPI sets its account capacity, while your copier package sets Telegram sources and platform features.

What you need for no-VPS copying

An active copier package and access to the Telegram channels or groups you want to copy.
Your own MetaAPI subscription for the core MetaApi cloud forex API.
An MT4 or MT5 broker account added to MetaAPI and showing both Deployed and Connected.
The MetaAPI account ID, an account-specific access token, and the matching region.
A demo account for the first execution check. Investor or read-only broker access cannot place orders.

For this execution path, you do not install an EA or add a MetaTrader WebRequest URL.

Set up your cloud MT4/MT5 copier in four steps

After activating your copier package, open Dashboard → MetaAPI. Start with a broker demo account.

1Add your MT account

Save the broker account number that should receive copied signals and configure its source and account rules.

2Deploy it in MetaAPI

Add the same MT4/MT5 account and broker server to MetaAPI. Wait for Deployed and Connected status.

3Connect ID, token and region

Use the matching MetaAPI account ID, account-specific access token, and region in the dashboard.

4Test demo execution

Run Test MetaAPI. After it passes, enable MetaAPI execution for the demo account and check one copied signal in Logs and MetaTrader.

What to check if a signal does not copy

Confirm the broker account is still Deployed and Connected in MetaAPI.
Check that the dashboard account ID and region match MetaAPI and that the account access token is valid.
Confirm the intended Telegram source and execution method are enabled for the matching MT account.
Review Logs for the parsed signal, rejection or execution result, then compare the result with the broker demo account.
Check broker symbol availability, trading hours and account permissions before retrying.

A passing connection test confirms connectivity. You still need a demo signal to verify the full copying workflow.

Can I copy Telegram signals to MT4 or MT5 without a VPS?

Yes. The MetaAPI connector provides cloud execution for connected MT4 and MT5 accounts without a running EA or VPS. You need an active copier package and your own separately paid MetaAPI subscription.

Is MetaAPI included in the copier price?

No. The copier package includes access to the connector. You create, manage and pay for your MetaAPI subscription separately. Account capacity and platform features depend on the respective plans.

Can I close my browser after cloud setup?

In cloud dashboard mode, Telegram listening runs on the server and MetaAPI handles execution. Your browser does not need to stay open, but the subscriptions, Telegram session and broker connection must remain active.

Does the copier provide forex signals or guarantee profits?

No. It copies messages from the Telegram sources you choose. Parsing and connection checks do not assess whether a signal is suitable or profitable. Test the workflow on a demo account before deciding how to use it.
